1. A Long Story Short Co. is located at 3336 Old Mill Street in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. @longstoryshortcompany It is an absolute must see! Be sure to check their hours and times they are closed.

Be drawn in by unique shelf enhancers that can be purchased along with vintage and carefully used books. Here are just a few books and shelf enhancers we have recently purchased from A Long Story Short Co.: Stuart Little by E. B. White- Grimm’s Fairy Tales by The Brothers Grimm- The Crooked Bannister by Carolyn Keene- The Dragon guards books on the shelves of our personal home library. The Woman becoming a tree stays close to my book in progress: The Wind In the Willows.

2. Emery’s 5 & 10 is located at 131 The Island Drive, Suite 5105/5106 Pigeon Forge, Tennessee

Looking at The Little Golden Books Selection, Mr. Ron said, “You like books.” This kind man listened to my story, I listened to his and he helped me select RUDOLPH THE RED-NOSED REINDEER for our grandchildren!

There is more to this store than books, toys, unique gifts, snacks and drinks, there is amazing history! Highly recommend the next time you are at The Island Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, set aside plenty of time to shop in Emery’s 5 & 10 and say hello to Mr. Ron Emery. You never know what book you will come home with!

3. MoonPie General Store and the Original Book Warehouse is located at 3127 Parkway, Pigeon Forge, Tennessee.

Ok! My Grandpa Virgil always had a MoonPie in his fridge when I was growing up. While I don’t crave them as an adult, I was very intrigued to make a special visit to this store seeing it listed as Original Book Warehouse!

No Disappointment! Half the store is full of new books. Loved the book title THE JANE AUSTEN SOCIETY by Natalie Jenner. Purchased my 1st copy of WICKED by GREGORY MAGUIRE- AND after hearing two men discuss THE CURSE OF ALLIE MAE CADES COVE THE CADES COVE SERIES BOOK ONE by Aiden James, these two men “inadvertently talked me” into making this purchase. Normally, not drawn to books about supernatural beings, I read the first page and am hooked! Now I can not put the book down! There are four books in the series to look forward to also adding to our personal home library.

Next time when visiting MoonPie General Store and the Original Book Warehouse maybe we will sample the different flavors of the MoonPie!
