    Give Thanks to the Lord

Psalms 118:29 29 O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever. Amen! This powerful verse in Psalms was given to me while I have been healing from a very bad virus. Through all the many hours of laying still I called to Him in prayer. I was sick and scared and seeking His comfort. For awhile I could not look at tv, computer, phone or read. But! I could pray!! Hallelujah! For the past few days I have been able to get social on my sites and talk to my girls on the phone! I wanted to share a new addition to my…

    A Writer’s Content Notebook

This morning was absolutely beautiful here in middle Tennessee, a perfect paradise for a writer to write! My blue writer’s content notebook has homemade blue tabs sticking out all silly like and wrinkled. But, I don’t care as I sit on my purple swing hung from an old Oak Tree looking out on the Tennessee hills. A gentle breeze kicked up and my pages were fluttering but I managed to get information for my book Donna Jean recorded in my writer’s content notebook! Each blue homemade tab holds a timeline for Donna Jean. I added in blue tabs for her daddy, mother, mamaw and aunts. One blue tab holds extra…

Lord And Prayer And Bible Verses

In the photo is a very special figurine that my parents have had since I was a young girl. To me it has always represented this couple’s dedication to the Lord even in hardships. They come together humbly for the Lord and prayer and bible verses. Their love for the Lord sent them to praying to Him. They went to their family bible and read verses that gave them hope and they ended their time of worry with prayer knowing whatever grief they were experiencing was safely placed in His care. For a long time my mind and body has been in a healing process. Experiencing a major concussion, Post…

    Angel Love

A Poem From My Book The Death Owl We are not sure how our last day on earth will be. While writing Angel Love, I pictured angel wings. These green soft feathers of strength wrapped around her soul that was leaving a broken and sick body. Death no longer had a hold. Pain was left behind. She was healed instantly. We send prayers up to heaven, but from above this sweet soul sent down prayers for us. The Death Owl is available on Amazon for purchase and Amazon Kindle.

    Writing Space-Where Do You Write?

Writing space. Where do you write? Have you made a little closet office or took over a spare room in the house to have privacy to expand on your thoughts? My two desks, shelves and whiteboard are situated in our large country life family room. There are windows all around to look out each day on fields and small mountains and hills. The views are absolutely breathtaking to inspire and jot down the ever changing nature scenes played out right before my eyes! At the very beginning of this year, there came a chance to go with my precious mom to have her car serviced. Above you can see I…
